Description
In the Glass
The Story
Col d'Orcia's Brunello Riserva channels mature Sangiovese fruit into a layered, age-worthy Tuscan expression.
Brunello Riserva is built on time: extended ageing before release and the natural development of Sangiovese's acidity, tannins and savoury complexity. It is a choice for considered food and patient cellaring.
The Producer
Col d'Orcia is an established Montalcino estate associated with traditional Brunello production.
Place & Terroir
The southern Montalcino hills balance sunny exposures with enough elevation to maintain Sangiovese freshness.
Perfect Pairings
Grilled beef, braised lamb, wild mushroom pasta or aged cheeses.
Serve around 16–18°C; decant if the wine seems closed.
Worth Knowing
Riserva is a stricter release and ageing category than ordinary Brunello.
