Description
In the Glass
The Story
Barbera’s natural energy makes this wine feel vibrant even with its dense dark fruit and savoury complexity.
The Producer

Gian Luca Colombo’s Barbera d’Alba Superiore comes from carefully selected Langhe vineyards, and the estate has documented mature Barbera vines at Magliano Alfieri and Roddi.
Place & Terroir
Barbera can combine saturated cherry fruit with naturally assertive acidity, while oak maturation may add texture without needing Nebbiolo-like tannin.
Perfect Pairings
Tomato-rich pasta, charcuterie, roast pork or mushroom pizza.
Serve slightly cool, around 15–17°C.
Worth Knowing
The Superiore designation has specific regulatory requirements; it does not mean this wine is a Nebbiolo blend.
